Whole Body Health: Being Well

In the last few posts, I briefly discussed Whole Body Health and the three legs that make it up.  To summarize, taking responsibility for your health and the health of those that are closest to you involves 3 things :

1) Thinking Well – educate yourself
2) Moving Well – chiropractic will ensure that your Mind-Body connection is
                            functioning at 100%
3) Eating Well – NRT will quickly and accurately identify the stressor or toxin that your
body is exposed to and the precise nutrients that you body is lacking

Thinking Well, Moving Well, and Being Well.  This is your health insurance  The foods you eat, the exercises you do and regular chiropractic care will ensure your health for years to come.

People are dying too long and living too short. We are living longer and longer lives, but are we living longer because of drugs and technological advances or are we living longer because we are healthier?  We are being diagnosed younger and therefore living longer with cancers, diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, etc.
Before we treat the pandemic of health problems facing our society, we must first find out what is causing them.  Treating the effects NEVER creates a solution.
The next time you see a funeral procession, take a look at the hearse.  There is no luggage rack.  Life is a terminal trip and you only get 1 shot.  Health is a journey and not a destination.  This journey should be about adding life to your years and not just years to our life.
The current model of healthcare under which we find ourselves, is not working.  There is a difference between feeing good and being well.  Cocaine and heroin will make you feel good and lose weight, but it will not make you well.

There is a pill for everything.  If you can’t stay awake, take this.  If you can’t fall asleep, take that.  If you want to lose weight, take this.  If you want to gain weight, take that.  Unfortunately, we have become dependant on immediate gratification or the “quick fix”, regardless of the long term consequences.  A “Quick Fix” is an activity, even if it is legitimate, that seeks to avoid a real solution to a problem or discomfort.  It simply covers them up.

There is a committment that you have to make to be responsible for your own health.  Its not looking on the outside for the quick fix to make you just feel better.  Instead, it is a committment to yourself and to your family so that you are functioning at the highest levels.   Because in the long run, who is going to take care of you?  You are!  You have to be responsible for your own health and wellness.  To get there you have to make a decision and make a commitment.

Procrastination is the thief of health.  If you don’t take action then you will end up back in the sick care, rather than the health care, model.  The only people I can help are those that come with me. I’m here to help you stop procrastinating.

If you just want to feel good and do it quickly, their way can do that for you.  But, if you truly want to be well and restore function, I can help you with that.  All that I need to know is that you are as committed to your health as I am.
Yours in Health,
